Vision, Strong Leadership and REAL RESULTS!
Vision, Strong Leadership and REAL RESULTS!
Tim Tubb’s family has been a part of Shannon since the 1800s, and he is deeply committed to its future. A dedicated father of two daughters, Tim is a successful entrepreneur and business owner, running an insurance agency and investing in property. With extensive experience in business, public relations, and networking, he has built strong relationships with influential leaders in both the business and political communities across the state. Tim has the vision, experience, and connections to bring real, meaningful change to Shannon—things that have never been done before.
We are capable of SO MUCH MORE!
Let’s get behind Tim and build a better Shannon for everyone.
I’m running for Mayor of Shannon because I believe our town has so much potential—we just need the right leadership to help us move forward. Unfortunately, we’ve missed out on too many opportunities due to poor decision-making and a lack of experience in handling important projects. It’s time for a change.
I want to bring people together, work with the right contacts, and make sure we’re doing everything possible to improve our community. But real progress doesn’t happen alone—it takes all of us pulling in the same direction.
As Mayor, I Will:
Work to reapply for the gas grant our town lost, bringing in much-needed revenue to help improve our infrastructure.
Support and strengthen our police department so that Shannon is a safe place to live, work, and raise a family. Criminals need to know that crime will not be tolerated here.
Invest in our fire department, working toward adding at least one full-time firefighter to improve our fire rating—helping residents save money on homeowners insurance.
Attract new businesses that create jobs and boost our local economy. I’d like to focus on developing the area around the cloverleaf, possibly bringing in a truck stop or other businesses that generate revenue for Shannon.
Encourage young people to stay in or return to Shannon by creating more opportunities for them to build a future here.
Work to get Shannon an assisted living/nursing home. This is something that is badly needed for our elderly residents who deserve quality care close to home.
Advocate for the development of a boys and girls club or a recreation center—someplace safe and positive for our kids to go, keeping them engaged and off the streets.
Work to make payment by debit card available for gas and water bills, as well as try to get a website where residents can pay online—so they don’t have to come in to make a payment.
Shannon is full of great people who care about this town. With the right leadership, we can work together to make it even better. Let’s take that next step forward—together.

For too long, important decisions in Shannon have been made behind closed doors, leaving residents in the dark about how their tax dollars are spent and how their town is being managed. That changes with me. As mayor, I will ensure full transparency in our local government because you deserve to know exactly what’s happening in your town.
How I Will Ensure Transparency
✅ Live Streaming Town Hall Meetings – Every Town Hall meeting will be streamed live so residents can see firsthand how decisions are made. No more backroom deals or unanswered questions.
✅ Public Access to the Town’s Budget & Audit – The town’s budget and annual audit will be posted online, allowing every citizen to see exactly where our money is going.
✅ Town Meeting Minutes Online – Every official meeting’s minutes will be available on the town website, making it easy for residents to stay informed about discussions, decisions, and upcoming plans.
✅ Clear Communication with Residents – I will make sure updates on major projects, grants, and spending are regularly shared with the public. No more guessing games—just the truth.
This is your town. This is your money. You deserve to know what’s going on. Government should work for the people, not behind their backs. With open records, accessible meetings, and clear financial reporting, we can restore trust and bring real accountability to Shannon.
The truth always comes out—so let’s make sure it’s clear from the start.

Fellow Citizens, As I campaign to be your next mayor, I want to be upfront about a serious concern facing our town: our financial records and town assets are not being properly managed. The last completed town audit was in 2022, and while work is underway for 2023, this delay raises questions about not just our finances, but also our equipment, resources, and overall accountability.
A town’s finances are the backbone of everything we do—funding for roads, emergency services, community projects, and everyday operations. But it’s not just about dollars and cents. It’s about town property, vehicles, infrastructure, and resources that belong to all of us. If audits are behind, we don’t have a clear picture of:
• Where our money is going and whether it’s being spent wisely
• The condition of town-owned assets—are our vehicles, buildings, and equipment being maintained?
• Whether we’re keeping up with state requirements to receive funding and grants
• Who is accountable for managing taxpayer resources?
That’s unacceptable. We need leadership that ensures our town’s resources—every dollar, every vehicle, every piece of equipment—are properly accounted for and used responsibly.
If elected, I will take immediate action to:
✅ Ensure transparency by reviewing the town’s finances and assets and sharing the findings with you.
✅ Work with the state auditor’s office to complete outstanding audits and fix any issues.
✅ Conduct a full inventory of town-owned equipment, vehicles, and infrastructure to ensure proper management.
✅ Implement better oversight to prevent future delays, waste, or mismanagement.
✅ Hold those responsible accountable—whether it’s poor bookkeeping, neglect, or something more serious.
Our town deserves leadership that prioritizes honesty, responsibility, and smart management of everything we own and operate. If we don’t fix these problems now, we risk falling further behind, potentially losing funding, and even facing state intervention.
Electing new leadership isn’t just about fresh ideas—it’s about making sure our town is on solid financial ground and that our resources are protected. I’m ready to take on that responsibility, and I ask for your support to bring transparency and accountability back to our town.
Let’s fix this together.

Our town may not have a traditional downtown, but that doesn’t mean we can’t create a thriving, connected community. With the right vision and leadership, we can turn Shannon into a place where businesses grow, families stay, and opportunity thrives.
Here’s my plan as your mayor:
✅ Listen & Engage – Hold town halls and surveys to hear what YOU want for Shannon’s future.
✅ Create a Community Hub – A park, town square, or business center to bring people together.
✅ Support Small Businesses – Grants, incentives, and resources to help local entrepreneurs succeed.
✅ Improve Infrastructure – Better roads, broadband internet, and new housing to attract families and jobs.
✅ Strengthen Schools & Services – Invest in education, healthcare access, and public safety.
✅ Secure Funding – Tap into state and federal grants, business partnerships, and community-driven investment.
Shannon’s best days are ahead, but we have to work together to make them happen.
I’d love to hear your questions, comments, suggestions, or concerns. Let’s talk!
